Honestly, it’s pretty solid out of the box. The plans are more concise than Claude Code, but it all works well. Main gotcha is speed: planning is noticeably slower vs CC, so a plan-revise-heavy workflow takes a real latency hit.

You’re using Claude Code mobile wrong. You think it doesn’t have plan mode? Think again. Plan mode is just Claude codes’s ‘plan agent’ So just call it in the chat. Ask for a plan, and Claude code on mobile will call the plan agent and create a plan for you.
