Claude's Shopify App Knowledge

Users are finding Claude's information regarding Shopify app development and distribution to be inaccurate or outdated.

Claude code seems out of sync with Shopify App development, it keeps telling me I can do public distribution without listing or going through review but when I try a private install of my app on a Shopify store it says it has to be reviewed first. Any Shopify folks that can help?
