Grok Code Competition
People are discussing the upcoming release of xAI's Grok Code as a competitor to Claude Code, with some mentioning xAI being blocked from using Claude Code, and others highlighting Claude Code's capabilities in generating websites from single-sentence prompts.
xAI is developing Grok Code, a new CLI coding tool designed to compete with Claude Code, with a release scheduled for February. This launch by @xai aims to bring Grok's reasoning capabilities directly into the terminal to streamline complex development workflows.
If xAI is so smart they should be able to figure out how to use Claude Code without permission
Finally Grok CLI. I’ve been waiting for this. At work I use Claude Code, so I’m really curious how Grok stacks up against the current industry leader. Codex feels painfully slow, and Gemini… kinda does what it wants.
