Wrong. Claude (the model) is Netflix. Claude Code is the television. You pay a -Claude- subscription which you can use on the web, Claude code, mobile, etc. Following your analogy, they are forcing subscribers to buy their TV to watch Netflix.

Except movies (sonnet, opus) are Claude (the model) , Netflix on iPhone as Claude App, Netflix on Apple TV Claude code. We can keep going but argument is we don’t want anyone to abuse generous tier & offer commercial products or risk losing tier for all us. . Doesn’t help any1.
