Claude Code Performance and Updates
Users are discussing Claude Code's performance in different IDEs like Cursor, VS Code, and Zed, including issues with memory usage, connection problems, and new updates affecting terminal rendering and connection stability.
Fyi , if you're having issues with Claude code extension in Cursor / VS Code would highly recommend disabling "thinking" as that seems (at least for me) to be the issue. Turned it off and no more issues with chats freezing or stopping mid process. Anyone want to try and confirm?
@bcherny please make the terminal tabs scream at me when Claude code await confirmation. Sucks to realize one complex task got stuck waiting for me
Claude Code v2.1.23 is here (Impact: I think it's medium level) - Fixed connection issues around corporate networks (mTLS/proxy) - Apparently the terminal rendering has become lighter/faster - Various subtle but effective bug fixes here and there (completion/search/cache)
