Claude Code Fallibility
People are discussing Claude's tendency to generate flawed code, requiring workarounds and highlighting the importance of backward compatibility.
I feel this. Super important to have backward compatibility with databases and code in production. But when you’re Ralph_looping your ideas into existence for the first time this adds so much annoying bloat. Agents/Claude .md help but aren’t strictly adhered to well enough.
@justalexoki you're absolutely correct! (sorry) the models are fallible. often they write bad code, miss the point, or just plain screw up. claude specifically drops in "fallback" or "workaround" code that causes all kinds of issues. you need to know when to call bs.
